Is The Majestic Theatre all ‘kid’ productions?
No. The Majesic Theatre has three production companies: The Majestic Theatre (adults), The Majestic Academy Teens (ages 13-18), and The Majestic Youth (ages 7-12). Occasionally we also have opportunities for kids younger than 7 years both in productions and camps.
Where is the Majestic Theatre located?
The Majestic Theatre currently performs most of it shows in two different locations. Dinner Theatre performances are held at the beautiful Executive Court Banquet Facility located at 1199 South Mammoth Road, Manchester. Our Non-Dinner and Youth/Teen productions are held at the Derry Opera House located at 29 W. Broadway, Derry. Our Offices and Rehearsal Studios are located at 922 Elm Street – Suite 315, Manchester; we never perform at this location. It is highly recommended that you check our website and listings for the correct location for each performance.
How big are your theatres?
The Executive Court Banquet Facility has normal banquet seating for 210, with an additional 40 seats available for bigger events. The Derry Opera House seats 325 between the lower level and balcony. Our theatres are intimate spaces that have optimal viewing from all sections.
How do I know where a show is being held, and how do I get directions?
Visit a show’s page here on our website to see where it is being held. Directions are available on our VENUES/LOCATIONS page. If you have any questions you can always call the box office at (603)669-7469 during regular business hours. Please note that this number is not staffed on show nights due to our staff being at the actual performance location.
How can I purchase tickets to an event?
There are 3 ways to purchase tickets. Call our Box Office at (603)669-7469 during regular business hours (Tues-Fri. from 9am-5pm). Does my infant child need a ticket?
Due to state fire regulations EVERY individual needs a ticket, regardless of age.

Group Rates for 10 or more guests are available (cash or check accepted); additional information can be found on the BUY TICKETS page. We also offer discounts (phone and in person only, in advance) for those who purchase tickets to multiple (different) shows at the same time.
Why do I have to pay an online service fee?
The Majestic Theatre is a NH non-profit. We are pleased to be able to offer the Vendini service for online purchases; however we have to pass the fees associated with this service along to the customer for the convenience of ordering tickets online 24/7. You can always stop by or call our Box Office to avoid service fees.
What is your policy on outside food and drink being brought into the theatre?
Outside food and drink is not permitted in any of our theatres.
Can I take pictures or video tape parts of your show?
Due to strict royalty restrictions and copyright laws we are unable to allow ANY video taping of our shows in part or in entirety. Photography is allowed at some performances if done so without the use of flash; we appreciate your courtesy of other patrons when taking photos during a performance.
Why doesn’t The Majestic have it’s own theatre?
The Majestic had it’s own theatre space until 2011 when fire laws forced the closing of the Hevey Theatre located in the former Ste. Marie School building. Since then, rising costs associated with running a theatre and production company have prevented The Majestic from pursuing it’s own theatre. Although we are very happy to perform in our current venues, it is our hope to someday pursue our own theatre space.
I am interested in being onstage – where do I start?
